Mr Kevin is a trilingual French, English and Portuguese executive profile with more than 28 years’ experience doing business mainly on the African continent and in Europe as a self-employed entrepreneur.
Kevin’s back ground is Logistics, HR which companies he successfully grew and sold. He even had an Art Gallery which is now a hobby. Since 2016 he is vested in the Energy Space.
His key objective is now to deliver bankable renewable energy projects on the Africa through Witech Group (Witech Development Corporation, Witech Africa, Witech Black Sea and Witech France) which he is a founder member and main shareholder.
Kevin quest is to resolve the huge negative environmental impact caused by landfilling and mishandling of waste; in doing so he believes that finding solutions for waste disposal and its management must go through an economic upliftment of the less advantage fringe of a population, more so on the African Continent where there is virtually no recycling.
He has formulated development strategies and systems in the Energy space, consulted PPA negotiations & EPC contracts in Senegal, Ghana, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Uganda, Kenya and South Africa, he has a clear overview on how to deliver and on how to codevelop Energy Projects. He has met a number of Regulators and Power Utility companies on the African Continent and consulted extensively for a number of developers and projects sponsors.
Kevin Gesseau is a non-executive Director of all Witech branches which he co-owns, the Managing Director of Witech Africa in Sandton South Africa. Kevin has an active role as Development Director in WDC (Witech Development Corporation).
He cofounded the Non-Profit Waste Transformation 4 Energy Association and since March 2020 he sits on the Advisory Board of NGO African Women in Energy & Power.
