Distributed generation and it future in Africa!

In this webinar speakers share insights into the Kenyan Electricity market and developments within the Southern African Power Pool.

A vibrant conversation took place on what the goals of supplying power for all in Africa, could be. Speakers explored if these goals could be better addressed with de-centralised distributed generation, lots of smaller localised power stations to address the electrification needs quickly.

Micro-grids development in Africa is an interesting concept, particularly if it is deploying renewable energy technology in the form of wind or solar power.

Dynamic entrepreneurs from Tanzania and Kenya shared inspiring testimonies on their journey in the power and energy sector.
