Irene Kiwia is an accomplished entrepreneur whose career spans over 18 years in Business.
Management, Media, Public Relations Communications, Gender and Youth Empowerment. She is the Founder and CEO of Frontline Management, a management firm with 3 dynamic divisions;
Frontline Porter Novelli, a PR and communication division that is a global partner of Porter Novelli the US-based PR leader owned by the communication conglomerate OMNICOM, and has a presence in over 85 countries.
Frontline Solutions – A technology division that builds solutions to complex social challenges including KWEA a soon to be launched platform established with the aim to provide high quality products to consumers at affordable prices using e-channels and direct selling as an alternative trading channel, through elevation of local manufacturing capacity, using best in class quality systems, technology and supply chain management.
Tanzania Women of Achievement (TWA) – a not for profit entity to empower women and girls through social and economic transformation with flagship programs including Tanzania Women of Achievement Awards, Capacity Building Workshops and Twaa Mentorship App an innovative platform that allows women to mentor girls and share knowledge and information anytime, anywhere!
Recognition of her role as a woman leader empowering other women and the girl child include, being mentored by a Fortune 500 company woman leader under the 2010 Fortune/US State Department Women Mentoring Program, receiving the Coin of Excellence from the US Ambassador to Tanzania in 2011, becoming a 2014 Global Health and Diplomacy Fellow, participating in the 2014 UN General Assembly Health and Young Girl’s Empowerment Forums and being honored 2015 Woman of The Year Africa by Africa Reconnect, a South African based leadership organization that honors outstanding African leaders who empower women.
A Rotarian at heart, Irene serves as Director on the Boards of Rotary Club (Bahari, Dar es Salaam), Swala Energy Trust, WGI –Wilson Global Initiative and Women In Africa (WIA) – Club Tanzania Chapter.
She has a Bachelor Degree in International Relations and Public Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) both from the University of Dar es Salaam.
Irene is mother to 3 sons; Axel (1 year), Ethan (6 years) and Zion (12 years).
