Targeted Municipal Electricity Officials
The AWEaP Just Energy Transition Skills Development Programme is carefully structured to ensure that it can be tailored to meet the specific needs of various professionals within the energy sector. Our programmes are designed for operators, managers, and leaders in electricity utilities, with a focus on building capacity for business innovation aligned with the Just Energy Transition. Additionally, our programmes aim to stimulate micro-economy resuscitation and advance inclusivity through preferential procurement policy reform.
To achieve these goals, we partner with several academic institutions, including TVET colleges, to design and deliver programmes that are most suitable for our target candidates.
The AWEaP Just Energy Transition Programme is specifically designed to target candidates who meet the following criteria:
- 1. Candidates must have post-matric qualification with degree preferred.
- 2. Recognition of prior learning will be utilized in the case of candidates without degree or diploma qualification.
- 3. 2 years minimum sector experience.
We strive to create memorable experiences during the delivery of our programmes, enabling candidates to build life-long working relationships.
Our approach promotes peer learning, where each candidate has the opportunity to be a teacher, coach, and learner, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances the overall learning experience.
